I have 25 year experience and still Working in the Industry, creating patterns for most of the branded High street stores.
I will be giving you an insight into the industry and how patterns are created and advice on what is required in getting a job within the field. If you’re interested in any of the courses, you can now book online. I am running small classes as I want to give each student my full attention. This step-by-step introductory pattern cutting/ grading short courses will introduce you to the basic techniques for women’s wear. You will be working from a standard size 12 Template (block). Also, exploring how to make a range of pattern pieces for the bodice, skirt and sleeve.
An opportunity to discuss different styles and how you can alter your patterns to create different shapes. The course will also cover a brief introductory to Sizing and how you can modify your patterns for a better fit.
